Day of Giving 2024

You clocked in for the fifth annual Day of Giving, and we are so grateful! This year’s campaign celebrated our nine Founders, the five-year milestone, and how the ZTA Foundation puts donor dollars to work to make a positive impact on our sisterhood.

Did you miss your chance to donate on Oct. 15? No worries, you can still donate to this campaign! Just click "Donate Now" at the top of this page to join in.

NEW! Sisterhood Circles

This year, donors could clock in early for some team building with our new “Sisterhood Circles.”

Available Oct. 8-15, a Sisterhood Circle allowed you to collaborate with as many sisters as you’d like to make undesignated donations to the Foundation.

We saw Circles for new member classes, chapters, regions of the country, professions and more. The options were endless and we loved seeing how you and your sisters worked together!

Coffee Break and Happy Hour

Thanks to some of our generous sponsors, ZTA hosted two virtual sisterhood events on Oct. 15 — Coffee Break and Happy Hour! This year, every donor received a Zoom link to join in!

Coffee Break | 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT/9 a.m. MT/8 a.m. PT)

Rise and grind...those coffee beans! Ever go to a coffee shop and wonder what all the different drinks and types of roasts mean? Former barista and current IO staffer Jasmine Hunt (Beta Theta, Franklin College) will help you get in-the-know before you order so you get a delicious treat every time.

Happy Hour | 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT)

Time to unwind after a long day! Amateur mixologist and IO staffer Hannah Grissom Keith (Alpha Xi, Indiana University) will share a special ZTA cocktail recipes (including a mocktail), as well as some tips on how to put the "happy" in your own Happy Hour!

Did you join us for Happy Hour? Click here for the ingredient list.

HOW YOUR DONATIONS ADD UP

The mission of the Foundation to support our collegiate and alumnae members through essential programming and scholarship assistance. Our mission is more relevant today than ever. Your gift to the Foundation allows us to continue to support our chapters and to be flexible to meet needs as they arise.

All gifts made on the Day of Giving are undesignated. Undesignated giving allows the Foundation to direct the funds to the most current and essential educational programming needs of our chapters and the financial needs of our members in the 2025-2026 academic year.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, your donations funded:

  • Nearly $1.4 million in scholarships to more than 450 recipients

During the last academic year, your donations also helped:

  • 1,750 members attend ZTA leadership academies
  • 16 Leadership Consultants complete 389 visits with 126 collegiate chapters
  • Bring Lifelong Learning programs to collegiate chapters

Your gift will also help us continue to Think Pink®️ and support breast cancer education and awareness, not just in October, but throughout the year. Your donations support our partnerships and have a direct impact on women in communities across the U.S.

  • At Convention 2024, the ZTA Foundation granted $1.25 million to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to fund two research projects using mammography data and artificial intelligence, as well as funding general prevention projects. That's on top of a $500,000 donation to BCRF in 2022.
  • Through our partnership with the American Cancer Society, ZTA is the National Survivor/Thriver Ambassador of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer®. At every Making Strides walk held in communities across the country, Zetas provide assistance with survivor and thriver recognition.
  • As the official fan outreach partner of the National Football League, ZTA alumnae and collegiate members have worked with all 32 NFL teams to spread the message of breast cancer awareness to more than 10 million football fans across the country.
  • ZTA members have distributed more than 25 million ZTA Think Pink® ribbons to generate breast cancer awareness, support breast cancer survivors and honor those who have lost their lives to the disease.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will my donation count towards my annual and lifetime giving?

Of course! All donations apply to your total giving for the current fiscal year, ending July 31, 2025, and to your Lifetime Giving. Read more here about our Annual Giving Levels and Lifetime Giving Societies. You can see your Lifetime Giving amount by reviewing your profile on Sisters Only. Please allow 2 to 3 days for your donation to show in Sisters Only.

Can I designate my donation to an alumnae or collegiate chapter or to a specific scholarship?

Gifts given during Day of Giving are processed as undesignated so donations can be directed to essential programming and educational support this year and to fund scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year.
